Economic Confusion?

How sad it really is that the highly educated people who have found themselves in positions of authority based on their claiming to know some theories about how things perhaps work or are supposed to work - but now are not sure in which direction to turn towards to really fix anything of this system which seems in every which way to be falling apart - are they not at all familiar with the science of networks and how things really work?

artisitc versus a scientific approach to business and life -

I would prefer to think of myself (at least) doing much better with taking an artistic approach in conducting any business as opposed to a scientific approach -

here the internet can allow for both but It seems as if people have been stressing the scientific approach due to the fact that the technology seems to lend itself to that leaning or emphasis while that may be actually hindering the great progress that can otherwise be made since the Internet itself is an organism and as is the case with any organism there is a certain artistic approach that goes far beyond any results that can be obtained by using a strict scientific method -

which thing is best to do first in business and in life -

just recently I wrote in another arena (I don't remember these things - where I wrote what or how long ago exactly) that I am on a really really really long journey and I must go really really really slowly in order to gain the benefit of that which I am passing while on this journey - because after this really really really long journey I may just be embarking on another even more really really really long journey - so what is the value in rushing?

about what stage or age we are in as a society

perhaps we are in a new age already - first the industrial then the information age and then the idea age - and now we have the implementation age - which idea or ideas are you looking to implement in order to engage your potential customers? are you in need of money so that you feel the necessity to push them along to do this or do that or are you in a strong enough position with yourself and your inner strength to be doing just what it is that you are doing and allow each and every person who comes in contact with you enough space to choose when it is the right time for them to make the move and go for whatever products or services that you are offering?

where are you placing your time or putting your energy towards?

were you to look back 20 - 30 or 50 years from now at what you are doing - would you say that you are making the best use of your time - if not or if you are not even sure that what you are doing or the plan you are following or the advice you are getting is the best route to follow in order to achieve what it is that you want to achieve -

stop - digging in a hole once you have determined that there is no oil in that location is detrimental to your entire life -

if you stop now you can step back and getting a better sight on where it is that you have to begin next -

and if it is not oil that you want or need to look for next -

what is the best most productive direction that you can go in -

towards any of the proposed fuel alternatives -

or working on inventing or creating something even more productive and cost effective -

this is the challenge that the entire world faces now -

let the challenge begin to be dealt with right here - right now by you and me -

I think that the most important thing that I can remember to do is to really talk with each person who I meet up with, come in contact with or become friends with there and anywhere on the Internet and in real life - certain aspects of each of the social media arenas has its very own strengths and weaknesses and although I do not necessarily agree with Seth Godin as to why he will not join more than his own Squidoo system and works solely on his own blog and that is it - I can see a very profound value in taking the perspective that he gave me when I read is reasoning for not being on twitter or facebook as somewhat of a guide as to what to do on all of these various social media tools -

For example Seth stated that he would not use any of these media because he did not know them well enough - that gave me the thought to look at these tools in a very different way and to explore each one of them as having very different strengths and perhaps some weaknesses in different ways -

For example, RYZE, which I am not sure how many people here have been using, is an excellent way to develop many deep and personal relationships with individuals, while for me, facebook seems to be more worldwide and spread out and creates more of an open international group all together - and in many ways because of the photo album features and the video features much more communicative that way -

now Sophie - I think, for example that you might gain some value in setting up a free RYZE page and letting people know about your VA business (I believe that is what you are mentioning here above) since it is my understanding that the VA that a person uses does not necessarily need to live in the same country as the person utilizing their services -

Susan - many of the friends I have talked with on RYZE - have at different times even when working solely on RYZE but were members of the various networks within RYZE found themselves pretty scattered and I suppose like anything else that is fun - or new or interesting and of some sensed value - the time an energy you put into it must be tempered in order to create a balalnce within your life -

and Connie - do you remember the days before you ever had an Internet connection - might you have gone for a refreshing walk as a means of enjoying nature as well as to gain a different perspective? - the same holds true for now only I think that it might be imperative to do such a walk without some hand held device - go hands free and you will be able to become refreshed in some very profound ways - it is exciting to be able to write and communicate with people from all over the world with so much to say - but no one can breathe either in or out for too long without having to reverse course and either take in or let out air in the opposite direction - that is simply a very profound law of nature -
